Hill End Public School is a comprehensive, co-educational Kindergarten to Year 6 primary school established in 1870, serving the historic village of Hill End.

Special events that our school hosts are the 'Hill End Visual Art's Camp' the 'Small Talk' Debating Competition and the 'STEM Challenge Cup' each year. These events bring students from near and far to participate.

- Our integrated immersive STEM Program provides students with the motivation to retrieve and apply new knowledge. We utilise our video-conferencing system to meet with other students at small schools to share lessons and ideas.

- We offer students the opportunity to participate in gardening and cooking lessons as part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.
- Sporting activities include PE every week and participation in the Mudgee Small School's Swimming Carnival and Athletics carnivals each year.
- We have an extensive sports store and are part of the sporting school's program and the Premier's Sporting Challenge.
- We also provide a learn to swim program in our school pool with a qualified AUSTSWIM teacher on staff.
