In preparation for the Hill End Public School's STEM Challenge our students have been taking part in a number of smaller team-based STEM activities here at school. The activities have included all the elements of design, construction and scientific testing. On Tuesday the children had to build a model of a ‘disaster proof house’. Bryton, Beth and Emily went with an extremely solid design. It was wonderful to see them talking and working so well together.
Yesterday teams had to build a model of a flood barrier. Claire, Toby and Emily were simply amazing in their conversations and team work. Well done kids, STEM really is about communication and team work.
